SHARJAH, UAE / RankWire.AI / – Air Arabia is set to commence nonstop services between Sharjah and Gdansk starting on Dec. 14, 2026. This new route will connect Sharjah International Airport with Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport five times per week, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The addition enhances a direct UAE link to northern Poland and broadens Air Arabia’s scheduled network within the country. Tickets for these flights are already available via the airline’s sales channels.

Air Arabia sets December start for Sharjah Gdansk route
Air Arabia expands UAE-Poland links with five weekly Sharjah-Gdansk flights.

On Mondays and Saturdays, flight G9 0628 departs Sharjah at 4 p.m. and arrives in Gdansk at 8 p.m., with the return flight, G9 0629, leaving Gdansk at 8:50 p.m. and reaching Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the next day. Flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will leave Sharjah at 8:15 a.m., with return services departing Gdansk at 1:05 p.m. and arriving in Sharjah at 10:25 p.m. All times listed are local.

Once operational, Gdansk will be Air Arabia’s fourth Polish destination from Sharjah, joining Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport. Additionally, Air Arabia will introduce four weekly flights to Katowice starting Dec. 17, 2026, scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. These routes, along with Gdansk and Katowice, will expand the airline’s direct network in Poland beyond its current two city connections.

    Gdansk joins expanding Poland schedule

The Gdansk route is part of Air Arabia’s broader European network from Sharjah, which includes Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, and Rome. The airline has also announced upcoming services to Frankfurt and Katowice as additions to this network. Gdansk provides travelers from Poland’s Baltic coast with a direct scheduled link to the UAE via Sharjah, serving the wider Tri-City area, including Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot, along with other northern communities.

Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali highlighted the importance of Gdansk in their expanding Polish route map, while Gdansk Airport President Tomasz Kloskowski emphasized the significance of the direct Sharjah link for the Pomeranian region. The airport also identified Sharjah as a transfer hub for destinations in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and East Africa. Gdansk Airport serves the broader Tri-City area, which comprises Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot, in addition to other nearby communities in northern Poland.

Five weekly flights connect Sharjah and Gdansk

Air Arabia’s fleet includes Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, with bookings now open through its website, call center, and travel agencies. The published schedule designates G9 0628 and G9 0629 for the Monday and Saturday flights, while services on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will operate as G9 0626 from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. These five weekly rotations ensure nonstop connectivity in both directions between the two airports.

The launch of Gdansk services on Dec. 14 will precede the airline’s planned Katowice service by just three days. As Krakow and Warsaw are already connected to Sharjah, these December additions will bring Air Arabia’s Polish network to four cities. Under the current schedule, Gdansk passengers will have five weekly nonstop options in each direction. As of Aug. 26, 2026, Air Arabia confirms the Dec. 14 launch date and the five-flight weekly schedule for the Sharjah-Gdansk route.
